Making Schools Inclusive

Making schools more inclusive requires schools and education authority to remove the barriers to education experienced by the most excluded children-often the poorest, children with disabilities, children without family care, girls or children from miniority groups. The process of inclusion involves a continual process of change towards flexibilty across an educational system. Inclusive education aims to ensure that all children get a good education of a similar standard, without being cut from other children or the rest of society. Schools need to put in place conditions that enables the most excluded child to learn.
It is a book about how Non Governmental Organisations (NGOs) can help school systems become more inclusive and how mainstreaming can be made possible for excluded children in the developing countries. This book is aimed at people interested in bringing about gretaer equity in education . the book will be proved useful to NGOs, Government, researchers and educators seeking to improve the inclusive practices in schools…….
