Education at School means more

Tangled roots of Banyan, Crumbling Cities, Merchants’ Mansions, Shrines of Saints speak  volume of the days human race witnessed in past. With every faded day was created a page- written or unwritten-which turned out to be a History. Those which were not accounted for became a subject of exploration at later stage. To know one’s past is a pursuit to make one’s present better and to envisage a future even more exciting. The Scriptures , Manuscripts, Ruins of Monuments and many more have always attracted many a travelers from all around this world to explore the mystic beauty of the country. The land of India has witnessed multifarious age old injunctions to pursue knowledge.

Preserving what we possess is an effort to grow.

The question is- what do we preserve?

A regret of the conquest or a yearning for justice? Or a pilgrim seeking a guru?

I believeIndiahas created not a history but an empire of spirit.

Sacred confluence ofGangaand Yamuna, Legislation, politics, preservation of life and ecology, postulates of morality embedded with code of conduct have been talked about many times in the past. What to bequeath for the future is an ideal society.

What is left with us in today’ world? A legacy of Education and Confused group of Adolescents!! Schools are the places where ringing of the bells required tobe more vibrant; the resonance of which enlightens young minds and creates a hallo of secured life. Education in true sense has become merely calculation of marks and grades on a comparative list. Expectations of this society from innocent children have grown tall. In a fix to fulfill these, a child undergoes a traumatic phase of oblivion.

Save trees!!! Save Water! Save Energy! Save Lions! Save Tigers! Save all natural resources of this Earth!!!

Further a clarion call …Save Children!!!! Save children from the shackles of comparison, societal pressure, peer pressure, parental pressure and undesirable stress.

Without antagonizing their thinking, the time has come to add wings to their creativity. What they think they can do but the question is whether they get freedom to think and do what they wish to do.

Tutored thinking is a stumbling stone on the way to progress and here is the need of education. Educating young minds has a positive value then what has gone wrong and where that the children are at emotional standstill today. Is that this society needs to be re-educated?

Education is re-defined with a purposeful motive. Child friendly atmosphere in schools is the factor that a conscious parent looks for while taking a decision to handover the child to a teacher for a holistic growth. A school, with good results, finds a place in society. On the contrary, envisaging a school with good human beings is education I believe.

Savage culmination of mundane thoughts mixed with impractical approach towards life is what has made life more miserable. The irony lies in the fact that no effort is being made in minimizing the miserable plight of the alarming situation. The myopic beliefs to revise the existing paradigm of education are not enough to combat this all.

Feeling triumphant in implementing new provisions on the other hand is rather pervasive than effective. Education at the stage of schooling has to be a landslide victory for a learner in the strife of life.

And for this I must say-

Let us all join hands today in making another history !!
