    Schools often turn to yoga classes because of the growing scientific evidence showing the positive impact they have on student health.

    Yoga is a Sanskrit word that means ‘Union’. The word is associated with asans. The practices of Yoga have been popular in India from several centuries.

    Teachers say it helps calm students with attention-deficit disorder and may reduce childhood obesity.
