 Short Story

 Rules

  • Participants are expected to write their ‘own ending’ of a book/movie* selected from the list below
  • ‘Ending’ should not exceed 150 words and must be in continuation of the original story of the classic

Rhyme Recitation

 

Rules

  • The theme of the poem should be ‘Seasons, Books’
  • The poem should be in English

 

Marathon of Games

 

Rules

  • Creativity and presentation will be important parameters.
  • A two member team will comprise either of Grandfather/Grandmother/Father/Mother/Daughter/Son
  • A series of popular games will be played eg Dumb Charades, matching pairs, locating items etc
  • Games will be given on the spot.

 

 

Word Building

Rules

  • Participants are expected to make as many words from the given words
  • The time allowed is 30 minutes only

 

 


Ship Wreck

[The participants are expected to portray himself as one of the famous personalities*]

Rules :

  • Ship Wreck:  In this event, there is an imaginary ship which is sinking and the ship has 20 famous personalities.  The captain has only one lifeboat.  The participants pick up the chit and assume the role of the famous personality and then have to convince the captain (Judge/s) that why he/she should be given space on the lifeboat as only three personalities can be accommodated in this lifeboat.
  • Participants are expected to answer queries raised by the judge/s if any.
  • Maximum speaking time is 2 minutes only

  • Each participant has to recognise the picture flashed.

 

Poster Making

 

Rules :

 

  • Participants are expected to design (Paint/ Draw/ Collage) a poster. 
  • Theme of the poster should be “British Library” 
  • Creativity and presentation will be important parameters
  • The time allowed is 60 minutes only

 

An Exhibition of Talent:                           

 

Rules :

 

  • Exhibit your best piece made by you using your creative talent in the library
  • Creation can include handmade crafts, own clicked photographs, paintings etc
  • Creativity and presentation will be important parameters

 

Written Quiz:                                                           

 

Rules :

 

  • You must collect the quiz from the library
  • There will be a total of 100 questions
  • You are allowed to take the quiz home
