Most of the schools are interpreting the provision of sec. 13(1)No child or parents or guardians will be subjected for screening in such a manner that it is only restricted to induction class. These schools are taking test of children for admission to classes higher than pre-primary or first. The logic they are giving is that sec 12 (1)(c) and sec 13(1) are to be read down as single one .this is not allowed as per the provisions of the act.
