Volume 2 Month 12 Day 20- Evaluation of Speech and Writing
Evaluating students’ skills of writing and speech is a complex job of a teacher. Evaluating the speech and writing skill of a number of students often leads to confusion in the mind of teacher and she/he finds it difficult to decide the parameters on which students’ speech and writing skills have to be evaluated.
Here is a rubric to evaluate a selected piece of students’ writing or a One Minute Speech presentation. This Evaluation form should be arranged for each student whose writing or speech skill has to be evaluated. Using a felt-tip marker, color or dab boxes that best reflect student achievement for the writing or speech presentation.
